What’s Your Value?
It is easy to fall into the illusion of insignificance, especially when we compare ourselves to celebrities or seemingly successful people. We often measure our worth against what we think others have in contrast to what we lack. Many times, that comparison is tied to material power, convincing us that our own lives have little value. But nothing could be further from the truth.
Every single one of us matters—though often in different ways. Our very existence affects countless people, directly and indirectly. Each of us is a microcosm of the universe, and our inner experiences ripple outward, shaping the world in ways far greater than we realize. The world simply wouldn’t exist in the same way without each of us in it.
Still, the question arises: Do I matter? If this thought resonates with you—as it does for so many—it may be time to explore why you feel this way. Feelings of self-doubt, self-belittlement, or even self-rejection often have roots in our past. Perhaps they stem from times you felt invisible or unheard. Maybe they grew from the limited attention of those around you. These experiences can leave imprints that carry into the present.
Take time to reflect on where such feelings of insignificance began. In that reflection, you may find opportunities for healing and change—openings to transform both your life and your heart.
The belief that you are not valuable can quietly limit you, holding back your growth and potential. But when you shift your perception—when you recognize your ability to impact your own life and the world around you—you may uncover parts of yourself long dismissed or overlooked. You may even discover new and exciting aspects of who you are.
As awareness grows, so does connection. When you recognize how much you matter to others, new opportunities emerge, and a renewed sense of belonging with the world takes root.
